Dr Gesine von der Groeben is a partner at Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm and a member of Dentons‘ global Venture Tech group. She is a recognized expert in the field of venture capital and has been advising VC investors, corporates and start-ups on venture capital and M&A transactions as well as with regards to corporate law for over 15 years. She is a sought-after supervisory and advisory board member, lecturer, jury member and speaker and regularly publishes on venture capital topics. She studied at the Universities of Passau, Barcelona, Heidelberg and Columbia Law School and holds a doctorate from the University of Heidelberg. Before joining Dentons, she worked for other international and national law firms.
