From March 17-18, you can dive into the world of social entrepreneurship and develop ideas for a better future at the Social Impact Weekend in Leipzig. Learn what social entrepreneurship can be, develop your own project, network with successful social entrepreneurs and connect with other young people from your area.

Social Impact Award shows you the whole range of social entrepreneurship, from social projects to ecological start-ups. In interactive workshops over the weekend you will get to know other young people, together you will tinker on your ideas for a better future, network and maybe even form your own small project team. The entire weekend is free of charge. You can participate with or without an idea, alone or in a team. We are looking forward to you and your ideas!

The Social Impact Weekend Leipzig consists of three workshops, which you can attend one after the other or individually. The schedule of the weekend:

Ideas for Change (Friday, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

• Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship (SE)
• Different perspectives on SE
• Interactive idea generation
• Networking with like-minded people

Creating Impact (Saturday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

• Introduction to Social Innovation
• How start ups can contribute to social change
• Analysis of social problems
• Working with the persona method
• Revision of the core of the developed idea

Social Business Lab (Saturday, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.)

• Introduction to business models of social start ups
• Structuring the ideas with the help of the Impact Canvas
• Information about submitting ideas to Social Impact Award Germany 2023

The workshops are modular and you can join at any time. Of course, we recommend to ideally be there the entire weekend in order to exchange ideas with the participants in the best possible way.
